    Default echeque help, memory loss

How long does it take for an e-cheque to clear.

I sold the item, and buyer in USA paid with e-cheque,

Never had one from outside UK, but the UK ones I have had took ages

Paypoo always say 4 days but in actual fact it is 10 days
Tell buyer to log into PP account and it will say on transaction in details when it will clear. It will state it in your account too same place

I think last time I had one the time was down from the previously standard 10/11 days. A week plus though.

Thanks, I've just been in paypal and on main summary page it has a red flag and says it will clear on 14TH August, but on the full details page it says eCheque estimated completion: 14/08/2009-18/08/2009. We recommend that you don't send items until you receive payment.

I've generally found their estimates to be accurate.
