    Default cancels order via neu feedback what can i do

    Hi
    Anyone able to give advice on this a buyer with 0 fb has left a neu with the comment "dont know if this is the right place but i want to cancel my order " anyway i can get this removed and claim my fees back tho fees really arnt that important

    Really sorry this has happened to you.

    Contact support@ebid.net and tell them exactly what happened and that you would like to have the neutral removed (I think you will need to leave a neg FB first) and ask for your FVF refund.

    What an odd thing to do!! Again, this smacks of the kind of people we got when feebay did their singing and dancing commercials on tv. The people did not have a clue how to buy on line, but they ALWAYS found the feedback buttons and left us negatives! And there you got stuck with the feedback, no exceptions.

    This is why we love it here, eh???

    Um... maybe it's just me, but...

    My approach would have gone something like:

    It's a new buyer and they don't understand the system here. I'll reply explaining how things work, tell them I'll cancel the order but can they change their feedback please, and hope to see them learning to like the site and appreciate how it works. It would have taken a few minutes and could have produced a happy future buyer. Which I thought was what we all wanted?

    I'm sorry the OP had this hassle, but I don't think a neg and getting upset was he best possible initial reaction. First, try to get a positive turnaround - if that doesn't work, there's still time to "neg their ass"!

    Ah but by the same token kimbo... the T&C's of bidding states (paraphrased) "you are entering a binding contract to buy the item" therefore the buyer is in breach of contract and as such leaving a neg feedback is well within the sellers rights


    mind you I would go the same way as you

    thanks to ebid support as the feedback has been altered , so much easier to deal with that the " other place "
