Why would you request an invoice if you haven't won them yet.

you can not cancel bids once they are placed... plus how can you get a negative if the seller hasn't contacted you yet

...maybe the seller has taken note that you are bidding on two more items and is waiting for the outcome before sending you ...hopefully..a combined invoice...:-)

    1. You would not ask for a combined invoice until all items are won.
    2. Ebid automatically sends you an invoice once you won the first item. So their contact details should all be there for you, just as your contact details will also be visible to them.
    3. You should not bid on items if you do not wish to buy them. A simple change of mind does not entitle you to waste a sellers time.

However, I am sure if you contact them again and tell them that you no longer want the items, they may be reasonable enough and take your bids off.
They may well give you a negative for wasting their time but that is a chance you will have to take I'm afraid. That is really between you and the seller.

Did anyone read the OP ?

The buyer has won one item and is getting no response from the seller. They are also currently in the bidding for two more of the seller's items and the seller's lack of response to the first item won has caused them to lose confidence in the seller and they now wish to cancel the current and future trade. All reasonable so far in my view.

OP. You have bid on three of their items and have won one. Therefore you have entered into a contract with the seller. You must allow them a reasonable time to respond. Only you can decide what you consider reasonable. You say 'days' have passed with no contact but give no indication how many that is. Two days I would consider unreasonable to start trying to cancel the contracts; 30 days over generous.

You will have the seller's contact details, including email address, in both the email sent to you when you won the first item and also on the After Auction Log of the listing you won the item on. Email the seller at their email address stating what action you require from them (invoice, contact, whatever). If you still receive no response then email them once more stating that if they do not respond by [date/time] then you will consider the transaction void. If they do not respond by that date/time then report the seller, along with all relevant details, to admin who will take the necessary action.

Whatever you do do not pay for any item until contact has been made.

Feedback on here can be changed (which you may not be used to). Unwarranted feedback can also be removed, so if you are left it out of spite then admin can take care of that also.

Mandie, you can also contact your seller by using the private messages facility here on the forums. You will find the link just under your user name by log-in box at the top of this page. They will get a pop-up message in their email in-box that tells them to visit the forums.

.....Hi Astral...yes I did read the op's opener. I thought it strange that they bid on 3 items ...and then after winning one item ask for an invoice...like I said ...maybe the seller is waiting for the outcome of the other two bids. As I dont have enough details in front of me I was only offering a possible explanation...also, if the auctions have a couple or more days to run...maybe the seller is away for the bank holiday and thinks they have time to get in touch upon their return. ...
    ...only suggestions on my part

Mel I did read the OP. They did not say how many days ago they contacted the seller. However I was assuming that it was not long ago if the other items have not been won yet.
I know I will combine an invoice if items are bought within a 7 day period. Maybe the seller has noted that they are bidding on other items and were willing to do the same thing.

I just thought it was rather strange for the OP to ask for an invoice when Ebid already does that automatically. I am perhaps wrongly, assuming that the sellers knows this too and has thought that the email was an error and is waiting for the other items to end before sending the invoice. The OP has also not indicated how much longer the other listings will be until they end.

It is not uncommon for people to bid on multiple items from the same seller and not be interested in a combined invoice. I have had several occasions where I have asked a buyer, on them having won one item, if they wish to wait until all auctions are finished so I can offer combined postage and they have declined. They wanted the won item sent.

Even if the seller is awaiting the outcome of all the participant auctions that does not excuse the lack of contact. Communication is the key in these matters. If you don't let your buyer know what is going on then they will assume the worst.

As said...we don't know what the OP means by 'days' so cannot assess if they are being unreasonable in their expectations or not.
