I made myself a 3 piece suite this morning.

No. I haven't turned my hand to carpentry and upholstery.

I have a new suite on order and needed to get the old one out of the way to make room for it. The two chairs have already been sorted but I needed to get the three seater settee out of the house. It came in all right years ago but due to some alterations no way was it going out again without a fight. Quick visit to the tool hire shop and returned with a chain saw. I now have a settee in three pieces in the living room. Now it will go out of the door. Where there is a will there is a way.

New suite only has a two seater so should (please God let it be so...) come in without too much hassle.

Ever the craftsman...I wonder if this exercise also provided psychotherapy of some sort. A rarely available opportunity for deep venting, plus the joy of obtaining open space in your quarters.

Wow, what if a neighbor stops in and asks if you still have your old sofa and says he wants to buy it for $100??? Get the glue sticks out.
