Anyone tried collectplus in the UK?

Just seen this and wondered if anyone has used them, and if they are any good?

Never heard of them but notice they quote Woolworths as one of their clients!!!!

Yeah I think they have been around for a while, by the looks of it but just decided in a hurry to make use of the "Postal strike" search words on google, so they come on top, I'm surprised more companies did not do the same.

I normally take the money saving thing with a pinch of salt, as it tends to be flooded with idiots, trying to sell their own stuff. So everything is rubbish when you look on there.

Run a mile from them. I bought a printer on Ebay a few weeks back. The seller also hadnt used Collectplus before, but we thought it sounded cheap, quick and avoiding the postie strikes, so we went for it.

Collectplus quoted 3 - 4 days delivery time

After this time had elapsed, I wondered where my printer was. Checked the tracking info, it was still showing at the store it was due to start from. I contacted Collectplus and they confirmed it hadnt even been collected from that store yet!

About 10 days later the printer finally arrived, I went to the collection point to get it, and had to wait for over an hour while the assistants had to keep trying to book the parcel out to me, as the paypoint system didnt seem able to handle it, then I got it home... only to find that it had been roughly handled and was broken in transit.

After that, I would never use them as a seller, and I wouldnt bid on an auction offering Collectplus as the delivery method!
