Mystery solves, its THE ONION. Its a joke newspaper. They started in Madison Wisconsin and recently moved operations to NY. Silly stuff often in poor taste. Probably poking fun at country western singers who have been very pro USA after 9/11.

No one is safe, they had Barney Pres. Bush's dog admitting he tryed to choke him, (Prez choked on a pretzel once), and all kinds of antics.
