    Will this do?

    I upraded to IE8 because IE7 doesn't work with my HTML editor on my host's site builder....if I still used IE7, I would not have a job.

    Ebid is the only site I visit that has this problem with IE8 when I am using the browser.

    Could be something timing out. You could do a ping test on the forum server to see if there are any timeouts or slow responses.

    These are the results for me:

    ping meetup.ebid.net

    Pinging meetup.ebid.net [64.5.39.36] with 32 bytes of data:

    Reply from 64.5.39.36: bytes=32 time=137ms TTL=47
    Reply from 64.5.39.36: bytes=32 time=158ms TTL=47
    Reply from 64.5.39.36: bytes=32 time=147ms TTL=47
    Reply from 64.5.39.36: bytes=32 time=137ms TTL=47

    Ping statistics for 64.5.39.36:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),

    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 137ms, Maximum = 158ms, Average = 144ms

    So far this morning it's fine for me. It's early to be sure, but yesterday this much usage would have produced a few problems by now.

    Yes - same here - working great today - yesterday was a bit of a nightmare. Yes I am another newbie that bought the odd thing on here before moving all of my vinyl auctions to this great site. I hope to have a little spare time to spend on these boards which are so friendly and helpful - a different class to the Dark Site. Hope you all have a great Christmas.
