Wow..this is pretty scary..I was just getting used to this site as it is..hopefully, it will be a little more user friendly...so..tomorrow is the day..right??
Yup, tomorrow is the BIG DAY (for them). The big changeover will start at 10pm tonight here in Washington state.
x
I personally am excited. There always seems to be a few bugs whenever a site changes but it seems eBid is taking the time to make sure everything is right before going live even if it means delaying a few days. I wish other places would take this approach. Being first isn't always being best
Last time they reduced the width of auction descriptions to 614 pixels, caused major headaches, even tho Gazza had given warnings many were caught unaware.
This time he's already said the width will increase from 940 to 980 pixels so nothing major there.
On the whole it went well, most people approved of the change, although there were a few tantrums & tears, but that's pretty much par for the course.
The following thread was started for glitches at that time, so you can see how everything was handled.

I'm chomping at the bit ... got loads to list but, being an eternal pessimist, I'm going to wait until the site is back up.
Come on ... come on ... let's get it over and done with!!!
