Default Can I get this sorted, postal return

WHO is responsible for claiming from RM when an item goes walkabout,
The sender who pays for the service, or

The expected recipient, who never gets it,

To the best of my knowledge, it is always the sender

The Seller. The seller is responsible for delivering to the buyer. The goods belong to the seller until they are in the buyers hands.
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

This is the RM form for claiming
    ftp://ftp.royalmail.com/Downloads/pu...English_09.pdf

On page 2 it asks if you are the sender or receiver, so I understand that either person can claim, however I would simply refund customer and claim myself for a lost item

    Either. http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/c...diaId=80300735 refers.

Though I reckon any decent seller would pursue the claim rather than expecting the buyer to.

I didnt think this would be such a hard question

you say, I would simply refund customer and claim myself for a lost item.

again NO MENTION of a customer,

it is arround a sale ,, but one where the customer received the item and wanted to return it,

fair do`s send it back ,, get your refund, BUT IT DONT COME BACK,

You asked who is responsible, I said either the buyer or the seller and gave a link to the RM claim form.
I expanded to say that myself (not you or anyone else) would refund the buyer (the customer) and do the claim myself, to expand further I would do the claim as I would have the original receipt that would need to be submitted with a claim
