    Default Just came here

I've put up a few auctions and noticed my views will go down, can anyone tell me why that happens? Also, I'm not getting many views overall yet. Would this be because Im new or if anyone will look at my listings and tell me if I've done something wrong I would be very grateful. Thanks and have a great day!

Welcome! What do you mean your views go down? The number of views is dropping? If that is the case I am not sure what to say other than it is a glitch. Maybe someone else can help on that one. All the people in the forums are very helpful and I have learned alot from them. I would suggest that instead of listing your items until sold, change them to 10 days or less and then you can repeat 10 times. This way they will get to the top of the search results. They will always stay at the bottom using the run til sold option. Also, I am not sure that they get submitted to Google search if you list them to sold. The store looks great to me though overall.

Sales are slower on here, but things seem to be picking up. Tell your old customers from feebay that you're listing on here. Also, you have to actively promote your listings on here. Good luck.

Is it best to start auctions right away or start after first bid?

Unless Run Until Sold or On First Bid really suit what you are selling then they are best avoided. Both leave your items at the bottom of search results and they never rise from there. If you list for 8-10 days with 10 Auto-Reposts (reposts cost nothing here - unless you have added extras charged at time of listing) your items will percolate to the top of search results each 8-10 days but still run for around 3 months (assuming they don't sell long before then) without any intervention.

Thanks for the help everybody! I'm still getting used to this site but I really like it here. It sure seems like a much better site than e(vil)bay in my opinion!

Welcome to eBid. Don't forget you need to promote, promote your store. Advertise. Send your URL to various search engines like Bing.
    Good luck.

Another thought. I'd suggest you do buy it now as well as the auction. Your items won't show up in Google Product search unless they are buy it now. I do both on some things, but all my sales have been buy it now.
