hello willie , my own opinion would be to give them another couple of days , then if nothing heard , tell them you will cancel sale and leave appropriate feedback..do you have it in the description that payment is expected within 7 days or x days....but saying that , I do feel with a buy now , it should be paid quickly , but folk are folk ...
hope it gets sorted for you......papa.

Paying on here seems a bit more laid back than e**y. I received a cheque yesterday for an item sold on 19th Feb even though I stated paypal only.

I give our buyers a week, then send a friendly reminder, I don't think it pays to push too hard. Most buyers are pretty good.

I agree. Not worth it to get strict with them if it means they will not return and buy from you again.

Buy It Now does not mean item has to be paid for immediately unlike over at eBay.

I give my buyers 14 days to pay with 3 intermittent payment reminders then I go into action to receive my FVF back and do the other usual stuff.

I give my buyers 10 days and if they don't state they are mailing the payment, I email them the next day to remind them that I allow 10 days and what the due date is. Then....I wait.

I've got a bit of a dilema at the moment.

Not a new buyer, but a fairly active, and by most accounts good buyer - bought a pair of boots from me on 27th feb. No payment recieved yet. OK, no big deal, and I don't have a problem if somebody lets me know they can't pay straight away, but I've had no other contact either. I've sent out a reminder, so am sure it will be sorted - I'd just like some sort of confirmation that they still want them.

For those who aren't fussy about filtering what I sell - Take a look at ALL my stuff above. - But for more specific listings, take a peek in the stores below.

TOY-PALLOI - For all sorts of traditional playthings!

THE PAPERBOYS PLEASURE - For Books & Magazines

    OUT ON THE FLOOR - For Records - (mainly 1950's - 60's)

    VIEWPOINT - Photographic Equipment

THE SCRAPYARD - Spare parts for old cars and bikes
