Default Could we have an improved messaging system please?

I find the messaging system on ebid quite a challenge as do some buyers I have heard from. I have to write some lenghty replies to questions and in such a small box it is so time consuming and I have to scroll right back to the start of the message to check for any typos.

Personally I would like to be able to respond to questions through email and even better to be able to put an email addy on my listings for potential buyers to use. I am sure it would encourage more questions, and perhaps lead to more sales?

You could always put a link for your forum pm.

Personally, having heard of times when the system has malfunctioned, I always duplicate the message by e-mail. So type the message up in that format first and then copy and paste into the message onto the ebid system. This ensures that I have a copy and that there is one in the system should the eBid management need to check things out.

As has been mentioned by someone else, we have asked many times that the whole messaging system is reviewed as in my opinion it gives a bad impression of an otherwise good site.

I have just found my forum pm system thingy after 2 years of being on ebid Being the adventurous person that I am, it may take me another two years to use it to its full capacity but I have now found out that I can enter my email addy there and post a link to it for potential buyers, thats brilliant! thank you all so much for the helpful info.

That's not the actual link for someone to send you a pm but, that will take them to your profile to access it.This is the direct link,
