Google Merchant Center is doing a verification on our google account and needs to be done by May 18 . Does that man our products will not show on Google. I tried to do the verification form but where do I paste the info they said is needed to be verified. Need to know where the <head> section is. Oh darn I get so confused Thanks anyone out there Dreamersgal

The verification process is only needed if you upload the items on your own website.

If you own your own website, you will need to create a new page containing the info they give you at the top of the page. Mine was just a long string of letters/numbers. They will also tell you what to name the page as. Then you upload this page to your website host to prove you actually own and have admin access to the site..
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

But even without that, your website will be googlebotted and your products will show up as long as you have let google and ther other serach engibes know that they can index your site and as long as your spiders txt allows - the bit for the google dasboard is all extra stuff and well worth having, it will mean that you can download your text and any new information as well as your website sitemap to google when you have made changes.

It is the google base bit that is most important and once you have managed to veryfy your site, you will be able to ping to goodgle base and your products will show up intermittently i must add in the google products bit on page one of google - but as this is shared with a lod of other websites, depending on how popular your products are on the net, the coverage can be infrequent BUT then alwasy easy to find by those using google products as a search.

That reminds me - I will go ping mine now.
