Thanks everyone & im back at last, in my jeans t shirt & trainers, luxurys of life

Interview went well, she enquired about customer service & did I know how to speak to people & sort out their needs. basically I said.

In the reptile shop we had to make sure that the prospective new owner knew all they needed to know about the pet they would like, we would never have sold a 12 ft boa or 23 ft burmese to someone who had not had experience with snakes before. So at the end of the day you work out what the situation is and discuss any options to resolve should there need to be one.

She was impressed not sure if it was cos I mentioned snakes. I did ask if she would be taking me on the month long work trial, she would let me know by next friday as she had other people to interview.

But im home & comfortable & seems loads jobs going this week in the paper shall have a delve later.

Got a phone call 9am this morning for job interview on friday afternoon, its a big jump from what I used to do. But what with lack of jobs around I have no choice.

Yup I have a job interview Friday at 1.30 pm, been busy plodding around bedford from 10am to 3pm trying to find clothes for the interview. I did advise them all I had was jeans and t shirts, but they laughed and said they didnt mind. But I ended up spending £90.50 in Debenhams purchased a pin stripe suit & trousers (way too long) so be wearing black jeans haha, silk blouse with bits on the front (not frills etc or ruffles) and pair of shoes.

Wish me luck nervous as hell, the competition out there may be strong & im no spring chicken, but my age could be an advantage.

Its not the waiting I mind so much, its a receptionist job which is not what im used to. Im used to the hustle & bustle of Court life and pay isnt too hot either, but something is better than nothing.

Fingers crossed that you get this job. As for being a receptionist~ it's great fun.

My old boss called me the dragon at the gate, as if they could get past me, then he would see them.

I was only the receptionist for a year, but loved it. Had to go back to computers after that, but filling in for that year was a hoot.

You never know how any job will turn out until you try it.
