That's why I went to the election count...to do my bit to catch out the cheats

Nope....fraid not.....was a good might out...lots of laughs

I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to see what happens to the ballot papers after they vote.


The other party members were very friendly (until they saw me talking to my son as he was wearing the rosette)

Our town is quite small though.

Our count started around 2230 and ended around 0500.

I consider it a privilege to have been invited to get involved...can't wait for the next one

I only went to the counts as I was a candidate for my local elections at the time. went in at 23:00 by 6am I was climbing into my bed

Oh..right...I was invited to be a counting agent by my son because he was the election agent.

Our candidate couldn't attend as he was recovering at home from a stay in hospital and would have had to drive a fair distance to get here (he has heart problems)

After the count...Gavin went on to Portsmouth for their count as he was also the election agent there...
