Once my listings have finished, that's it for me! I may have a look at this site agian in a couple of years time. But to be honest......I don't think it will still be here. If it can't make it in ten years or more, it never will.
Nothing is so good that it can't get better and nothing is so bad it can't get fixed.

So far as I can see the difference between the 2 sites is night and day. You think eBid will be gone and from my observation the other side is the one likely to be gone. You seem to think we are all not too smart to stay here but so far the other side has not shown me any reason to go back.

What makes you think the other side wants small sellers back?

They don't and you know it and I know it. It just seems there are still some that think it is the only game in town.

Do I sound like a grandma with all these old cliches?

Can anyone decode if this missive from eBid towers means a move in the right direction?:

BUGFIX - Run Until Sold items were being missed out when closing out of date auctions
As RUS listings cannot go 'out of date' I am unsure what it means.

p.s. That's ignoring the fact that you cannot have a RUS auction.

To me it implies: when an absentee seller is identified by other means, and their listings are removed, the RUS ones had been hanging on.

A message for any who have a business and simply refuse to listen let alone take any action when large numbers of their customers complain about exactly the same thing over and over again.

These stores should be closed but ebid could contact the owners first to ask why they have not logged on.I agree it gives a bad impression if customers have tried to buy from them

I'm afraid I agree with you Triumph. The auction count has if anything gone down,Ecrater and the reast are leaving ebid far behind and sites like CQout are catching it up. I see little point in putting new items on,the time it takes to do so is better spent elsewhere but renewing the existing ones takes only a seconds.
I doubt the site will be here in a couple of years either,to be honest I think its done well to survive as long as it has.

I think this thread has run its course and all there is to be said has been said - and it is now just going around in circles. Admin cannot be unaware of it and it is starting to descend into negative comments against eBid rather than a debate over the dead seller issue.

Maybe time for the OP to close the thread before admin takes action against it?

I agree with you astral...but I also agree with bacon...

I know that a few "sellers" on here no longer list new items (at least ways in their main line of items) here and only relist the items they already have here. Which leads to a (relative) stagnent site, which in turn is no good for anyone, be they a buyer, a seller, or the owners of the site.

the above might be seen as negative, but it is also the truth
