A quick note of thanks to those who have suggested putting a "buddy" link on each auction...
It works! Made a sale yesterday to a brand new member (who joined moments before making the purchase). I'm confident that they joined through my link, because my buddy points reflect this.

Hi there all. Thanks for that fishingmathsman. I've coppied the buddy points link to my auctions now however, when I click on the link it does not appear to be working? Am I just being a numpty by doing something wrong? Would someone please take a look at one of my auctions and check for me please?

I think you need to change the editor to html and add the code to add the link.... it looks like you used the wysiwyg editor

Thank you somersethedge. i have tried changing the editor to html and repasting the link on my vintage spider brooch auction but it still wont click? i have never used the html so havnt a clue about it, am probably still doing something wrong.

I have tried clicking on one of fishingmathsman's links and that wont click either.

Stay with the ordinary editor and click on the button with the chain link icon. Add the URL/address in the appropriate place in the box that pops up.
