I buyer has not received his items

I sold some items back in july to a guy in the lebanon. his friend from the U.S paid for it but they never made it to leb. what should i do as he didnt pay for them should i just refund the friend????. i know it was not the best way to do the transaction i should of been a bit smarter.

If the actual buyer paid via Paypal you should be able to go back into your transactions and issue the refund. Then I'd let the person from Lebanon know that you have refunded the money to the purchaser via paypal.

If he paid another way, maybe inform the guy from Lebanon that you will be happy to refund the person who paid for them and could you please have some contact info as you can't reach him. Make sure you keep a copy of that request.

The guy from Lebanon can't leave a neg because he didn't buy the item and the guy from the U.S. would have no excuse to leave a neg if you refund the money.

Or, you could just wait and see what their next move will be. Ask them to check with customs-maybe it's been held up there for some reason.

It's really rotten to have to refund but you will have to decide if it's worth it or not to avoid a neg.

I have been searching through the pay pal transactions but yet have not found the payment. cant contact the U.S buyer as the transaction is to old and does not appear on ebid.im happy to refund but i cant find there transactions or payments yet so i cant contact them.

Hi,

There is a way to find the transaction no. in "History" by clicking on "reports". I use the "Monthly Financial Summary"which goes back three years. You just have to put your month in from the drop down box. You have to click on the dollar amount next to "Sales Activity " It will show you the invidual transaction numbers as well as the email and physical addresses of the buyer. Other info is available in other reports. Once you find the transaction ID it you can put it in search and it will bring up the transaction. Then you may be able to go to the "send money" link and refund that way.

There may be an easier way-I just haven't found it. Maybe someone else will know.

I am assuming that your site is the same as the U.S. site.

If that's true, then when you log in, you can choose to go to your account. You will see blue tabs at the top of the page. Just below the blue tabs, are some links. Mine reads, "Add Funds", "Withdraw", "History", "Resolution Center", and "Profile". Click on the history link then go to "reports".
