On the contrary, it means that UK buyers can search European countries they're happy to buy from. I'll certainly use it that way. EU postage is much more affordable than US, so browsing by country without having to frig about on country sites then find out that seller won't ship to me will be great.

We'll see I suppose..... I'm still very relieved that the facility to search by distance etc won't be added to eBid France until there are a reasonable number of local auctions to look at.

Trouble is, I'm not sure *how* we'll see - it's going to be pretty hard to quantify. Some serious tracking stats about how buyers find us, what searches they do, what referring sites are used etc would be lovely. But probably expensive to implement, alas.
