I tried loading my Blackberry software onto my computer and it was a disater, slowed everything down so I deleted it.
Since then everytime I srat the computer I get windows installer trying to load Roxio Media manager and I have to keep using task manager to stop it.
Anyone any ideas how I can get rid os this software, its as bad as some viruses to get shot of.

That's true and only after I've done that bit first.

I tried deleting with the blackberry sofwares own delete and the normal route via program delete.I even tried reinstalling and deleting again.
It's the alterations to the windows registry that I can't find, let alone delete.
I'll try the more specialised computer help forums.

Do you have any kind of system restore functionality on your computer? Some operating systems such as Windows save system settings once or twice a day. If there is subsequently file corruption or some other problem with settings, it is usually possible to go to system restore and reload all the settings that were saved on a previous date when everything was working OK. The problem sometimes with using the control panel add / delete functionality on Windows or just deleting programme files direct is where elements of the programme being deleted have some kind of shared link with other programmes (especially via the Registry) and neither delete option deals with this correctly. I am not sure if system restore deals with all registry entries but I have used it several times myself and have got out of problems before. If you are on Windows, go to start (bottom left corner button on screen) / all programmes / accessories / system tools / system restore. When you get to system restore, you should find a panel box which gives options to select restore to dates for current month and previous month. You can then select a date from before you started to download programmes. Thank you.

Thanks for that Robert,I have tried to restore but I'll try again with an earlier date.
How are you finding sales of car parts on here.I run some old classics, the latest is a Rover P5b and have noticed very little in the way of parts on here.
