Angry Auction Won't Display - Cancel My Account

I've just about had it with Ebid. I am so frustrated with trying to get a single auction to display that I just want out. The FAQ's are useless, there is no human support, And, now I can't find any place to cancel my account!

I'm sorry to hear you are so frustrated. When did you start the auction? If you entered everything and clicked on start auction it may take a little time for the system to display your listing but it is there. If you made a mistake, wait a little time and if the listing does not appear have another try. If you do it too quickly and have 2 of the same auction, eBid will delete one if not both because you can not have duplicate listings.

If you need human support try going to "help" at the top of the page and "contact".

Since you are posting this on Christmas weekend, there will be less help as most are spending time with family.

Ask more specific questions and someone will have the answer or look on these forums for help.

Try typing in Knowledge in the search and you will find two threads started by Astral that have lots of information. Others have also compiled helps including videos that walk you through the steps of various thing on eBid.

If you are using internet explorer, it may not work, I tried for hours to list using internet explorer and could not do it. I started using google chrome and it worked right away.

    @Danl17

Funny how every other newbie can list auctions no worries.

Just calm down and study things. Take it easy.

    There are plenty of FAQ's

And you can email support@ebid.net and get a personal reply within a day or so from a human.

Try that on other sites !

I am only pretty new here but not new to selling on line. I have been doing this for several years and just from changing sites, settings, picture sizes and listing formats, I have learned which may work the best. I also was pulling my hair out the first day I was on here trying to learn and list, finally got it and am very happy here

The first question you asked here was in 2009.You were offered good advice which you chose to ignore. You say you're frustrated, how do you think we feel when people like you just can't be bothered to look at things properly, then come on complaining how bad the site is?
Try accepting responsibility for your own failings & do something about it rather than blame everyone else.

I paid for Seller+ Jan 09. I had to learn how to use the site, and took advice and acted on it. I filled in the about me page.
Listing could not be much easier. the forum is full of help, human help, If anything went wrong I looked to see what I had done wrong, not the site.

Cancel your subscription here (assuming it is not a Seller+ Lifetime one): http://us.ebid.net/perl/account.cgi?...y-credit-cards

If it is a Seller+ Lifetime subscription or you want all trace of you removed from eBid then contact support and request removal here: http://us.ebid.net/contact.php

Others above have tried to offer you help beyond what you asked for, but I see little point in doing that with the attitude you appear to have.
