Brilliant performance by England. I never thought I'd see them win a series 3-1 by the margin of an innings+ each time let alone against the Aussies on their home soil!

Other than a bad first day or so in Brisbane and a dreadful 3rd test in Perth England have totally dominated Australia and the stats back that up. Man of the Series, leading run scorer, leading wicket taker, top 4 out of 5 bowlers, top fielder, top wicket keeper... the list goes on and on.

I hope the players go wild for the next couple of days as they thoroughly deserve the celebrations but then I hope they knuckle down for the next set of challenges. The World Cup starts in 6 weeks time and then test series against Sri Lanka and India (#1 ranked team) to come in the summer.

A great performance from England. Things are looking good with a wealth of good young players on the brink of test status as well.

Repeat this performance in the world cup and we can say we are really near the top in all formats of the game.

Sri Lanka & India should give us a more realistic challenge in this summer's tests.

If we can beat them both we should be ranked 2 or 1 depending on how S.A. do this summer.
