Thread: Email -- Invoice request for item sold three weeks ago

    Default Email -- Invoice request for item sold three weeks ago

    When I went in to clean up my emails this morning, I found one from eBid, dated January 19, 2011, with this title:
    eBid - AAL - Invoice Request - 1958 Silver Canada Coin 25 Cents Quarter [33083250]‏

    The problem is, the buyer listed in the email paid for this item on December 29, 2010. I shipped it, he received it, and we have both left feedback. AND, there is nothing in my AAL about an invoice request, either now or last month; the buyer paid immediately with PayPal.

    I rely on AAL to stay current with my buyers, which is why I didn't see the email until today. Does this mean he requested a delayed invoice, or is it a glitch? I don't know if it's even possible for a buyer to request an invoice after the sale.

    Maybe he wants it for his records. You could email him in case it's a glitch.

    Could just be he/she just wants the red invoice icon changed to green

    I don't know about the rest of you but i do find it annoying when you have one red invoice icon and the rest are all green, lol

    Oh forgot to say , yes you can still request an invoice after a sale.

    perhaps this could change to green after a week or two.

    Hi Tias Treasures, I had the same problem just after Christmas. My buyer also purchased before Christmas and had paid and received the item and also went that extra mile and sent an email to say how pleased they were with the item, so I took this recurring invoice to be a glitch. I had nothing outstanding in my AAL. I did keep an eye on it but nothing further has materialised.

    I'm with you on that - I like to see ALL my buttons the same colour - preferably GREEN! I think I may be OCD!
