If its a fixed price item and the seller has it on run untill sold it will mean only the one feedback even if you bought one every week.
When the item finishes or seller relists it then both parties will be able to do feedback.

Hopefully this will be resolved in the future.

so tonight i bought and paid for another set of the same item and if that was confusing enough to do! now it is saying i have left and received the same feedback when i have not done so
I must be missing something here. On this second set of the same item, was it not listed on a separate listing/auction number?

Hi. Thank you all for taking the time to explain.

Iwiw60 ... It had the same listing number 31912210 and it was a run to sold. The auction has now closed as i bought the last one but you can search the closed auctions and find it.

I have spoken to the seller and i know the transaction is going to be okay. But i really think this system should be changed as it seems unfair that i cannot leave him another positive to help to get rid of his sunglasses and for him to receive his buddy points. Julie.

Its normally with a seller listing say 10 items at a fixed price ,this is differant from a Dutch auction which when it finishes the sold items go to the top bidders and are normally differant buyers.

The term "Dutch auctions" has always been misused here, which is why it's nice to see them moving away from that to describe listings as multi-item whatevers. But the old terminology is bound to take a while to vanish.
