A lot depends on how you're going to use it. If it's to be a true logo appearing on letterheads and generally in print, then Astral's given some excellent guidelines. But if it's a virtual thing to be used online, or a "pretty, pretty" to dress up an item and you're going to make/print/whatever yourself then different rules may apply. Your first task is to be very, very clear on what you're trying to achieve.

Ditto to that! Another thing to remember, if your logo is ONLY ever going to be used online (websites etc.) then you can use low resolution and RGB mode, if it’s going to be printed (letterheads, sewn labels etc.) then is HAS TO BE high resolution and 99% of the time CMYK mode.

As Kimbo says, you need to anticipate HOW you are going to use it before you get started.

    Good luck, Sharon

Great ideas I think I'll go with Astral and Kimbos idea of keeping it simple since it'll be printed on hang tags, bags, etc. I also like the idea of the lilys curving around in panthers picture, but i might put the word "lilly bears' there instead of a bear (That picture might be copyrighted too) Also, as of tomorrow, Lilly Bears will be a registered business name
