Those who join ebid via Google and my listings

How do you know your 40 new buyers came through Google? And if they did, how do you know it was your item that brought them here? I've had "buddies" join and not buy from me. Presumably whoever they did end up buying from was as mystified as you are! Which would you rather have - the sale or the buddy point? Wanna swap?

If you look at the front page regularly you'll know that I was usually at, or near, the top of the buddy chart each month. Now nothing! I shall have to try doing a bulk edit of my links again. It worked last time, for a while.

If you have a history to compare with, as you do, then sure it's clear something has changed. But unless you can see a fault with your link (you're changing from what to what on bulk edit?) it's not entirely clear what the change is. It could be a change in buyer behaviour, and that could be triggered by... goodness knows what. I'm not saying the ebid side can't be broken (I'm not that daft ) but I worry about the level of assumptions that some people present as facts on the forums, and always have. It's a shame there's no simple way of checking links unless you happen to have a handily placed friend or neighbour to whom you can sell something, who isn't yet a member, and whose view > join > buy > buddy points progress you can actually track. If anybody wants to volunteer...

You keep answering direct questions that weren't directed to you. I'm not saying you can't, it's a public forum, but *you* researching carefully doesn't mean everybody else's assumptions are magically justified! I'm usually careful about quoting when I address a specific person.

If it's a question it wants a ? on the end. A label marked "not for kedo" would help too.
