    Of course the present government will get the blame for what the last signed up to.

    I seem to recall reading that Alistair Darling signed the agreement that exposed us to supporting bailouts in Euro countries during the post election vacuum between the two governments.

    What I am saying is what I wrote.

    It was the last government that locked us into the agreement to bail out Euro countries.

    Also, that it is my understanding, that it was signed up to when no such agreement should have been signed as the then 'government' did not have the legitimacy to make such undertakings - having lost the election.
