Twitter question

If you delet a follower or someone you follow will there tweets dissapear of your home page tweets list, it just that a couple of people are tweeting that much I find it impossible to find any of your tweets to retweet.

Boy, you've got me on that one, buttons! I've been trying to figure out Twitter for months now....I just can't seem to get the hang of it. For instance...this morning I got an email notify that I'd received a "direct message" from someone I'm following. Okay....fine....how to reply is a mystery to me!

that makes two of us, I don't want any direct messages but keep getting them, i am thinking of closing my account as it seems not worth the hassle, maybe I am doing something wrong. Maybe I am following the wronge people in fact i don't know who the hell i am following or who is following me!!!!

Yes they disappear , I just did it to one I followed and all their thousands (ok 100) tweets went away thank goodness

In the black bar across the top of the twitter window you should see the word 'Messages' - click on that to read any messages.

In top right hand corner, you should see your twitter user name - click on that, and then on 'Notifications' and untick box re: messages.

To find out who you're following click on the word 'Following' for a list; to find out who's following you, click on the word
'Followers' - if you don't like any of them, just unfollow, etc.
