Answering questions from bidders

Joined the site today and imported all of our listings from the other site. What a nightmare that was, will report on the many failings of the import process if/when i have the time.

Just added another auction manually and noticed at the end of the process a message that listed a number of reasons why the auction would be removed. One of them is "if a question goes unanswered for 24 hours". Is this for real ? Is that 24 hours on working days, or does it mean we have to check the site for questions 7 days a week ?

Thanks for the reply. It is a site rule though and i'd be really annoyed if a bidder complained that he hadn't had a reply in 24 hours to a question that he asked at midnight Friday.

Having the rule encourages buyers to expect an instant reply, 24/7, even from business sellers.
