There might be a problem there - mp3s are normal delivered electronically, and I think this would clash with ebid's rules. You'll need to check with support about whether or not you're allowed to list them. In the age of the Kindle it might be time for them to reassess the rule, so I'm not predicting how that one will turn out!
You are right ''Kimbo girl''….as I see this Seller already have some items which is obliviously home made disc from computer recording or similar stuff and seller have of 20 quantity of same this item…which is more ‘’tricky’’…and by the way I check U.K. Legal retail stores for the same item and original item look very different from this collection which is cost around $67 for all collection from BBC Original release…
I am not sure a 100% for eBid rules for similar recording stuff in here…
Is just my personal opinion but is not look to me like original stuff…
hi there thanks for the info these mp3 discs are in the public domain and buyers are paying for materials postage and time searching for these on the public domain if you pop across onto the long established rival site you will find there is over 1400 listings for mp3 audiobooks so at the end of the day a catagory for mp3 audiobooks would be nice it might encourage the 1400 other listings to come across thanks for your time and replys
hi kimbo thanks again the only thing that is banned on both sites are mp3 digital downloads where there is no physical item being that these are available to anyone to download an you have an item in your hand ie a disc buyers are paying for my time and materials the artwork does not infringe any copyrights as they are my own design thanks anyway pete
That may be so but to download & then sell on may be in breach of copyright.
From the banned list;
"Recopied media
- Copies, dubs, duplicates, or transfers of books, music, videos, software, images, etc., are prohibited. Just as you cannot sell a photocopied book without the author's permission, you cannot sell copies or duplicates of videos, music, video games, software, photos, etc. Likewise, you cannot sell transferred media--whether laserdisc to video, CD-ROM to cassette tape, or from the Internet to any digital format--unless explicitly approved by the author."
As Kim has said,run it by support then you won't have wasted your time by listing.
Digital audio content not permitted currently.
