Thread: Items not in store

    Default Items not in store

    Looking at my store I find there are only 39 out of the 69 items I have posted in my store. Obviously I missed using the drop down menu to state where I wanted the items to appear. How am I able to edit these to have them in my store? Can't seem to find the menu for this when I go into edit item.
    Hope that makes sense.

    As far as I Know, you will have to go back into each item and edit it.
    There is a trap for young players in that there are two drop down boxes, side by side, the second one of which does not have a label (GAZZA!)

    If you put an entry into this second box, I am sure your items will appear in yout shop.

    Just try a few items first to confirm this.

    Thank you I will click on everything. I know I saw it when I first started listing but don't seem to be able to see anything at present. Again thanks

    Hi - I went into edit and clicked onto everything - no box there to choose whether to put into store or not.
    The drop down menu next to quantity has Do not put into eBid store then underneath are all the categories I have put in to choose from. I have checked my eBid store page to make sure have not missed anything but all seems ok. Any other suggestions.
    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    The "do not put in etc" is the top option in a drop-down menu that should include your shop names. Click on it and choose the shops you want.

    Thanks Kimbo I really appreciate your assistance. I have just gone into an item and "relist similar" - when I open the drop down menu it has
    "Do not put into my eBid shop" then all of my categories which I had previously put in via My shop when setting up. So basically they should be going into my shop Jewellery Magic.
    I have checked everything from setting up the shop to starting auction from beginning to relist similar.
    I put 3 items on last night and not in store.
    This is driving me a little crazy.

    Don't forget the second drop down list box that I told you about.
    You may need to put a category in there. (Did you set up catgeories ?)

    Ie the first drop down is the name of your store
    The second one is the category eg
    Ladies Rings
    Bracelets
    etc etc

    Don't panic and don't worry, I found it a bit tricky.
    I have suggested that ebid label the second drop down list "Category"

    Am I getting this right?
    When you set up your categories prior to putting shop on line?
    You have
    Add New Parent Category now
    Then
    Add new Sub Categories with Choose Parent drop down menu next to it which I thought was your Main Category header, e.g. Dogs with sub category (e.g.) links, bracelets etc. which are sub categories for my products.

    Lawdy new systems drive me crazy. I find it easy but it's just the little things. What I am not seeing in the drop down menu when relisting or listing new is my Shop Name.

    Basically I guess what I am asking when setting up your shop in "My eBid Stores" section should the Parent Category be my shop name?

    As I said in a post last month, this whole area needs a little tidy up.
    Its all there, but it is NOT very intuitive.

    I have to go out now, but will try to reply in 12 hours or so.
