Thread: Editing Quantities

  1. #1

    Default Editing Quantities

Im trying to edit 2 of my auctions quantities, they are both meant to say quantity 1 but have been listed as having more (8 and 4 respectively) in error, im doing what i normally do to edit an auction and saving the chnages but it wont allow me to change the quantities, any advice would be good here as Im being optomistic here lol and if 4 or 8 people go for the items im going to look unreliable

    Thanks in advance

You cannot change an auction from "many items to one item" or from "one item to many items" as they are two different auction types.

You'll need to end the auction and use "list similar" before making the appropriate changes.

Someone else may also have an alternative method if you wait long enough.

Close the item to be amended

Wait a couple of minutes for it to appear in your Unsold Items List.

Then relist it amending the quantity as you go along.Name: close it.JPG

Agree with MPS, close the auction and relist with the appropriate quantities.

There may be a better/faster way, but I'm not sure what it is.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

    You're welcome.

It seems to me there should be a way to edit, besides ending the auction, hopefully someone will let us know what it is.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I have a "fixed price" listing, not an auction, and can't edit quantities either. Why?

Don't get hung up on the word "auction"; it has a flexible meaning across various sites.

Check my reply above and if that doesn't fit, try reposting with some more information.
