Thread: Need to sell internationally ONLY

  1. #1

Default Need to sell internationally ONLY

Hi there. I need to sell few items only internationally. For that ebid has option to select shipping internationally, but I wonder if they can allow seller to list our item on international website precisely. As I am aware, ebay allow seller to list their item on UK or USA or AU website. This help seller to value the item according to the currency of the country they wish to sell. And main important thing is if seller wish to make it featured listing or front page listing, it will be visible on front page of that precise website and not on the front page of their home website.

The item I am willing to sell is very common here in India, but it is good selling item in UK and USA. And I am sure if I get good visibility like front page visibility on UK or USA website it will surely sell.

So if you guys can do something regarding this, it will be lot more helpful and appreciable. Also, I am sure like me there will be many sellers, who wish to list their item on precise country website.

You have to sell to your domestic market as a base offering, then you can add International markets on top. If you want that to be changed you will need to post to the "website suggestions" forum. You can move this post if you want to, by using the forum tools.

Thanks for your response. You mean is it possible right now to do as what you said, or I need to move this post and than that will be possible?

OP, I think that your items will sell if they get the exposure - They are unusual and very keenly priced. Why does it matter if they are offered in India? As you offer international sales, they appear on the international sites.

Thanks for all of your inputs. I am concerned about the herbal products which are manufactured in India. I haven't listed all of them but will list soon but I'm worried whether or not I will get exposure. Even I am sure that if it get exposure it will sell for sure. That's why I wish to list them on particular website so that it will get much exposure also I can make front page listing on that precise website.

I am hoping for a way to mix all the listings from every country into one location, then deal with currency conversion as a secondary listing issue.

You may need to check the law in the countries in which you want to sell, as some have restrictions on the sale of herbal products.
