Great idea, but I do have one question. What happens if I pay for something with this system and it doesn't get delivered, or it arrives damaged? The main reason I use credit cards instead of writing checks is that I can get my money back if something goes wrong.

I must be missing something here. It sounds like he's set up a company which charges 25 cents to process a bank transfer.
As a seller, why would I want to pay for receiving a bank transfer? They're free. Companies are using them for payroll - how do their employees feel about paying to receive their wages?
As a buyer I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Online if I pay with PayPal I know I can get a pretty much hassle free refund if things go wrong. Offline I'm protected for purchases over £100 if I pay with my credit card and my debit card gives protection for purchases under £100.
CMEJewellery For all your jewellery needs.
Beads 'n' Bobs For beads.
Charms 'n' Findings For charms and jewellery making supplies.
Depending on the circumstances here in the states, a debit card can charge anywhere from $2 - $4 for a transfer. So 25 cents would be a much better deal.
And at my last job. Our boss paid a whole lot more for processing the payroll.

uk companies pay for wages to be transferred to accounts not sure how much it is but it does cost
same as it costs to use cheques etc. most companies get it free by paying yearly on accounts but still have to pay in some way
