Default Media Mail and Flat Rate Options in listing

I would like to offer media mail and priority mail flat envelope services in my listings but it seems that if I use media mail the flat rate envelope is not an option or if I use the flat rate enevlope then the media mail option is no longer available. I was wondering if it is possible to use both since I would like to offer the buyer a low cost shipping option although slow delivery time and the option for a faster delivery time but at a higher cost.

I thank you ahead of time for any and all responses.

    Alan

When you enter the domestic shipping service, you will see small boxes at the right, one with a plus sign, one with a minus sign. Enter your first option (such as media mail), then click the plus button. A new line will open underneath to add another shipping option (such as priority mail).

The box with the minus sign is used to delete one of your options if necessary.

Obviously, you have to use Calculated Shipping and enter the weight.

Ok I will try that again, in the past when I add the extra shipping option box it would still not allow me to use both media mail and flat rate on the same listing just one or the other, but I am going to try it again - and thank you.

I tried again and no luck, I am wondering since one is flat rate and the other is calculated that perhaps it is not possible to have both the services listed on one auction? does that make since or have just confused everyone even more?

Ok this time I selected the flat rate check box and was able to offer both media mail and flat rate, now the question is since I have the flat rate check box selected if someone chooses media mail will the listing auto calculate the postage for media mail prices?

The problem I find is that when I use calculated shipping in order to use flat rate priority mail envelope I have to choose envelope as the parcel type selection, then in order to add media mail I must change the parcel type to regular package type which causes the flat rate envelope to become unavailable.
Is there a way to work around this?
I know when I buy online I like to see what my postage options are with out having to send an email to get the information, I will pass up a purchase and go somewhere else that shipping options are straightforward without a lot of hassle.
I am just trying to make it as easy on the buyer as possible and I know that shipping cost can be a sale killer so i am just trying to offer the buyer the two best options available for shipping comics that I know of.

    Once again thanks.

Most comics aren't legal for Media Mail as they contain advertising

First Class is usually cheaper for single comics than Media is

If I add cardboard in the envelope in order to prevent bending of the comic it wont pass for first class mail large envelope will it?

The limit for First Class is 13 ounces

As long as you are 13 oz or less it should be fine
