I've just got back from Morrisons - the store was quiet . . . .the customers were all in a queue for petrol.

Makes me wonder just how long the strike is going to go on for.
The way people are already starting to panic you'd think that petrol would never be on sale again.
Copied from local paper.
The Government suggested motorists should start stockpiling petrol in case industrial action disrupts supplies

We are limited to only being allowed to buy £10s worth a day but they know OH and know he is disabled and they know I am ill and they told him to go back to the pump and put another £10 in, wasn't that nice of them?, that will do us now for a couple of weeks to get shopping in each day or for any emergency trips to hospital.
Think I'll wait until they run out - the queues should be shorter then.
I wonder if the rest of us who drive for a living & whose livelihoods may well be affected by lack of fuel can sue the Union, or its members for our loss of earnings?

I stopped driving 5 years ago - simply got rid of the cars.
Think of the money everyone will save when the pumps run dry!!!
I hate missing out on a chance to save money - so am thinking of starting driving again this week, just so I can save money by not being able to buy petrol.
Whilst I don't like strikes. This is about safety not money!!
Wow, what a mess. At least in the UK you have good public transport. I can't imagine what would happen here if there was a similar strike, as aside from a few major cities most areas don't have a lot of public transport options.
Hope this gets sorted soon.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
