Some people don't use pictures - they could then have a million duplicate listings.

Not if the picture and the title were used, unless they can come up with a million different descriptions for the same item, which they could do now anyway.

I don't name my photos ( yes, I probably should tho') so if you looked in my gallery there would be several titled 001, 002 etc. And I do use the same photo for more than one listing for example I'm selling the same button but with a choice of buying 10 or 20, the photo is mainly for showing the shape and colour.
