Thread: G & M, using a shared / public computer to log in: does that count as multiple users?

Default G & M, using a shared / public computer to log in: does that count as multiple users?

    Hi, G & M.

It has been said on the forums that having multiple ebid users on the same computer is not allowed, and some users think they would have their accounts frozen.
    So,
if I were to log in with a public computer, then someone else (a stranger to me) were to use ebid, would we be banned? It seems implausible that I would be the only person in my town to use ebid.

Thanks in advance for clarifying this.

a very good question. You may want to address the question to ebid support - support@ebid.net.

Highly unusual getting no reply. Responses are normally within HOURS (depending on time of day) not DAYS. I would contact Support again if I were you.

Did you check your spam folder just to be sure it didn't drop into there?

Got it - thanks, G & M. They said this:

We have several security measures in place regarding site access security. It is highly unlikely your account would be suspended after accessing via a public computer. If this did occur however please contact us via this Help section and we will review your account.

To clarify, we may require additional information for us to complete a number of additional security checks in certain situations. It this is required, we will ask for the information to be forthcoming.

We cannot elaborate further on our security procedures.

    Best Wishes
