I'm new to ebids but I currently sell designer items on eBay. I pay for Auctiva to get my templates for eBay. is there
Anything like this for ebids? I see ebids sells them individually but I was hoping for paying a monthly fee and having access to tons of templates. Fill me in!

No, eBid itself doesn't sell you individual template use like ebay does. But there are plenty of excellent template makers here:

Many people seem to continue to use Auctiva templates. However, these are often in breach of eBid rules as they contain links back to the Auctiva site (which is an e-commerce site) and even to eBay itself.

Hello Astral,
I tried your About Tabbed template but it doesn't seem to be working. The HTML editor of eBid seems to strip away a good part of the code ..such as the Javascript part. How can that be fixed...can you please help with that.

Hmmmm... Odd. It is stripping out all of the javascript.

I will have a closer look later today (it is early hours here) and see if there is a way around it.

Well, at least I am not going senile (I couldn't believe I would have created something without testing it in situ). I queried with admin the stripping of JavaScript by the About Me page editor, their response was that JavaScript is no longer allowed on users' All About Me pages.

No explanation as to why, just that statement. I hope they are not planning to extend this to listings as well.

So, if anyone has used any JavaScript on their About Me page you will likely need to fix it.

It would have been nice if they had announced the policy change rather than leaving us to find out.
