OK guys, here is the news.
You know Matt, Lucias boyfriend, is a motorbike racing enthusiast?
Well, he has been steadily improving his track records, but he was told by all and sundry that he would never win a trophy because of his size. He is 6' 6" tall.
Well, this weekend he raced at Cadwell Park .... and ... he won TWO trophies, the first he has ever won.
He got a third and then later, he came second.
He is just so over the moon, and we all are, wow! Against all odds, our Matty got TWO trophies!
As Sal maybe knows, bike racing is an exciting, daredevil and very expensive sport, it costs a lot to participate, but it's all down to the thrill of it all.
Here is a pic of him in their tent, just after he won his very first trophy ...

Thanks cheavs, but I do worry. It is such a high adrenalin sport, and I worry that Matt is pushing himself too far.
Ruca - you are far better off without that hedgehog on your face.
You look much younger, and well done sir, for raising so much money - we are proud of you!
My daughter Debbie, and two of my granddaughters, and Laura, my daughter in law raced for life last Sunday. Bless them all.
Not sure what the overall total was, but Laura alone raised £250.00.
Hats off to all of you, and a big thank-you for taking part, bless xxx

And now good morning. The sun has come out and it's very pleasant in the garden the birds were very noisy. I still have some printing tasks to do and then I am taking time off to visit the sofa. Oh and I will need to check the YDC auctions

    Morning all
Rain again, however hopes it may clear (with all Sues usual digits crossed)
Trish wonderful news, congratulations to Matt, that is some feat! He must be, rightly, so pleased with himself. Sure is dangerous though!
Love your little smiley skipping among the flowers, love ALL your little characters, they always make me smile!
Ruca well done, I must admit I prefer the beard on you I think, though not generally into them hugely.
Maely lovely photo, are those cocker spaniels? We had them, funnily enough also had various family members, firstly Mother, son and daughter (brother and sister) the brother, Oscar, passed away a few years later (he was the runt and my favourite :-( then his sister Millie had a litter of which we kept one pupply a golden one this time, a bitch called Gina. So we then had Grandmother, (Rhoda) daughter and grandaughter. I flew to England to have my daughter and when she was in her carrycot at my parents the 3 dogs all stood guarding her protectively. I may have some photos handy of a couple of them somewhere will take a look
