Thread: Post removed why??

  1. #1

    Unhappy Post removed why??

I posted a thread asking for help with sales but now it has been removed. Can anybody tell me why.? I was not rude of disrespectful in any way
although I think it was high jacked by some idiot playing around. Do you think this was the reason?

It was because you are from Portsmouth so all the people from Gosport reported your thread

LOL! I've heard you can report threads, but I'm not sure why anyone would bother.

Sorry about the thread disappearing, let me see if I can dig up my sales tips from another post...

Best wishes for many sales to all,

    Found it.

Hi and welcome to eBid. Some thoughts:

    1) Add a signature link to your forum posts, so members can click to view your listings.
    2) Offer international shipping whenever possible to widen your potential customer base.
    3) Use Plug Your Auctions to promote your items (1x per 24 hours, remove/delete old plug before adding new one).
    4) Use 7-10 day listings with auto reposts to ensure your items move up searches.
    5) Participate in forums and eBid community activities, as YDC auctions, to help good causes and increase your visibility.
    6) Tell everyone you know and meet about eBid.
    7) Use social networking (as Facebook, Twitter, personal blog) to promote your listings.
    8) Read Astral's FAQs page, Bykimbo's page and the Help section for good advice and tips.
    9) Use MaO (if it's your thing) on listings and/or offer combined shipping or other incentives to buyers (if feasible) to purchase your items.
    10) Let former customers on other sites know you're selling on eBid.

    Oh and have fun.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I also had similar deleted auction itam, while I was out. so to TEAM MEMBER WHO DELETED-Please would you consider , that it would be more appropriate to inform the reciperant of mistake and give them alternative to rectify, BEFORE you mistakenly delete wrong item?
Had a meeting to rush to , thing would have been rectified later in evening, I do hope Ebid is not becoming an over enthusiastic dictator, regarding genuine mishaps of members? before informing them first? yes you have vast guide lines, but some do have work to attend to, I.E Negotiating with china and japan for stock for ebid.,If member of team do NOT get too over their school monitoring
attitude and understand the art of communicating NOT dictating, which will have adverse affect for ebid, Ebid could rise over ebay ect, BUT the responses and reaction, attitude from team member, should be amiable NOT doctorial, we are all human and will often make what appears unwarranted mistakes, make EBID a welcoming place with good atmosphere and attitudes, help and advice WITH patience understanding clients and members are needed, some haven't the ability of others, that is not the way to promote ebid, its a matter of human psychology use it? right had my say. I have been trying to change photo in about me for weeks, doesn't happen also want to get up template from ebid, as considering putting video on utube to encourage more elder and younger generation to start some thing like this, for benefit of their mind, stimulus, friends, income, if I can do it at my age any one can no such thing as cant?

I don't want to sound rude but this has nothing to do with the original OP's problem. You need to start your own thread about your concerns.
