I think there would be a LOT more if D* auctions could be imported into eBid. Or can they? As far as I can see, it's just eBay, Amazon & AbeBooks that can be imported into Ninja Lister.

Maybe something that could be worked on before the mass exodus from D* likely at the end of December?

I'll be listing new items on here from mid-September after my hols.

I saw you ask on the other forums re importing from del** lister to Ninja lister, Somer said on another thread that support are working on it., but the postage as used by del** was the sticking point.

I assume the del lister is a spreadsheet in some form or other, & that the postage part will be identical for most if not all of your listings.
If that is the case, I'm wondering if you set up the postage for just one listing on eBid,
you can then copy that information to all the other listings in Ninja, or the bulk upload spreadsheet.

If you're not really into spreadsheets it might be worth you contacting support & ask if they can do the import for you, if you supply them with any info missing from del** lister that they need.

    They really are very helpful.

I have emailed the Boys to see if they can do anything.... but it's a weekend/bank holiday (and they may be busy) so I am not expecting a reply for a few days

however it must be possible as another site has sent out emails saying that their system allows you to download Del CVS file then upload it to their site.....

I have to admit I tried it there last night for a few items as a "try out" but found although it uploaded fine but I then had to go in and edit the postage and the cat's....

I haven't tried it on here tho..... might be the afternoon job :-)

update.... it didn't upload the CVS file

Just out of interest for you all Every invoice that leaves here from items sold on D have an explanation of the fact of extra charges, that all are cheaper stock will be now listed on here & transfered here by the end of December, so this means that every customer will see the plug not just for us but for EBID & was thinking if everyone did that it should bring customers for other things as well as paper collectables.

every time I look at the new auctions on the left of the screen I notice that quite a few of them seem to come under the heading of "Paper Collectable's".... I take it that they are from Del sellers who already have an account or have new accounts here as I recognise a lot of the names ;-)

Hi - thanks for the response.

I'm OK with spreadsheets so will probably import existing D* sales via the bulk upload spreadsheet and perhaps new sales via Ninja. Ninja uses Adobe Air as does the D* Lister but yes - the basic starting point for bulk import into Ninja is Excel spreadsheets (or CSV files).

Thanks also to Somerset for flagging to the IT guys.

    Hi Gazza

Well done with a quick response !

I don't need to use the Ninja

But can it import Bonanza listings ?

There is a lot of dissatisfaction in the forums on their latest move
