What I'm trying to figure out is how in the holy hell a COUNCIL house is valued at £1,000,000!; is it because of the area? But if this woman is sitting in a council house that has far more rooms than she needs, then I'm happy to say she's gonna get walloped with this new "bedroom tax" that's due to be introduced.

It should have been taken away from him when he was in the nick in the UK! After all, it COULD be used as an offensive weapon! They don't let inmates run about with bleedin knives - so WHY a HOOK?

If what I read online is correct, these costs have to be paid for whether folk are on benefits or not. And I don't think there are many exemptions. My friend's husband is on 24/7 oxygen and has a nebulizer machine both of which make a helluva amount of noise. They have separate rooms at the moment but they'd have to pay for that extra room cos they are husband and wife. Crazy!
