Angry Article sold but no reciept of payment

This is the third time in the last two months that this has happened. Buyer bought Item using buynow button, i never received a email to notify me of the sale, (I check my stores almost hourly), I invoiced buyer and that is where it sits. My Dashboard shows that i have sale(s) but no notice of sale is ever sent, after leaving item sit there as sold for two weeks, i finally just canceled etc.

This is getting a little tiresome

    Bob

I think your problem may very well be that you have not updated your MY EMAILS section of your My eBid Dashboard. Look down the left sidebar of your My eBid and you'll see "My Emails". Make sure that you have ticked the 'receive email notifies when a sale is made (says something to that effect).

    Hope this helps you!

Do not cancel these types of sales. You will be charged a FVF for it. Go through the non-paying bidder process.

Op, contact eBid support and explain what happened. They will more than likely remove the fees. The cancel sale option should probably come with a clear indication, that fees will not be refunded if sale is canceled. After one loses their money, is not the time to inform them; sort of like adding salt to the wound.

Just goes to show how differently we all operate.

My email is stuffed in the morning, so first I would have to search for any that say an item sold, then I would have to search to see if it was paid for immediately, then search some more to see if the buyer has any questions. I don't even go there.

I rely on My eBid exclusively. It's easy, fast, and ALL the information is there. And I have to go there anyway if I'm sending an invoice.

Yes so true. But I go to my email first thing in morning, mid-day, and last thing in evening to keep "the stuffing" down. I also receive important non-eBid emails, and I worry I may miss things I need to see.

Start with a fast delete of all non-essentials, and my junk filter takes care of most of the rest. Go back and open the rest for followup or filing. Open any eBid sales, questions, and and other email of importance or interest; delete or file these after opening.

Following the morning clear out, I go to eBid and other sites. Often wish eBid could leave just 1 notice of "you had 1 or more auctions that did not sell", or "you had one or more reposts"; this would eliminate the stuffed box, and save so much time. I do not open "reposts", "listed auction closed", "watch list", "one hour left", "you made a bid", "bid increases", or anything like that. I acknowledge them while scanning, and checkng off for bulk delete.
