Loved the Kristina Train, lovely voice. Here is one from a gal I think has a hell of a voice - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eb_X8rcf0aU

I do listen to other music, but it seems the Country always gets my attention. I have a friend that says he likes all kinds of music - Country and Western. he he.

    Brilliant Old! LOL!!!
Have to agree with you there - Dud certainly was a very much under-estimated musician, and I laughed my head off at Pete and his silly dancing ... rather John Cleese-like!
Have you ever heard of the Temperence seven?
There were 8 of them ... one over the 7..lol!!!

I quite liked this one ... it's trad jazz and my foot stomps away whenever I hear it!

That is indeed one very moving song Trish for us Mothers, will be sending that to a few others.
My photos from the bus came out poorly, its not my best cameraphone either, I was given it as a replacement to my better one, I will be replacing it with a much better one soon. Shouldve taken my camera with me but it was a flying visit and was travelling light.
I have some much better photos of Brecon as I used to live there for many years Books, my kids grew up there. I didnt swap Brecon for Cardiff by choice I can tell ya! :-(
It is a truly stunning part of the world, I played on the Brecon jazz myself, but as an alternative to jazz ;-)
Trish meant to say about the profile pic btw, you mentioned the location it is truly stunning there too.
It is part of Wentworth Estate (beautiful Yorkshire :-) will try and find a link to it, if any of you ever get the chance to go there I highly recommend it. It covers around 22 miles of beautiful unspoiled England.
Meantime here is one photo from the cameraphone lot yesterday, I deleted the rest as I will get much better ones and none of them were taken from the best place either

Here is one of my old house just outside of Brecon, it had a first class panoramic view of the Beacons directly opositte, will find one off my files some time. This house had no central heating, no mods and cons at all, hot water was from a gas canister outside and you got no warning as to when it ran out.
We had to say our prayers before going into the bathroom for a shower in the winter, boy was it cold!!!
Some of the walls inside were straight stone! In the winter it was freezing beyond words, we lived in one room pretty much, but every room had a fireplace (really old ones) they were quite romantic and did warm the rooms up well when you got them going, we didnt have health and safety interfering either, we used normal common sense! Alex, my son knows more about fire (building them properly, logs, best wood, fuel etc) and safety involved than most adults. Its lovely going to sleep to a fire in the fireplace, but you don't leave it fully blazing and you always leave a fireguard around it.
Shame you cant see the surrounding land around the house, I do have more on files with it somewhere

Great Tropical, never heard of the Temperance Seven - good stuff.
Here's an Oz band from the 70's (I have this album) & are of a similar vein.

    Good morning all
I hope everyone had a good weekend
had the waterboard here at 8 am this morning to fit a water meter, it only took him a few minutes i was amazed especially when he said it would probably cost us about £450 a year. Now that it significantly better than the £910 a year we are paying at present !!
