My main concern would be how to send plants safely through the post.
I think my main concern would be making sure that my plants didn't end up being confiscated by Customs Officials of the buyer's country. Many countries have restrictions on the import of biological & botanical items.
I bought a Hydrangea plant from the other side last summer and it was shipped in a cardboard tube. No problem and it is now a healthy young plant.
Agree with jaBek - you need to check that.
*Primerasri - you need to fill in your 'about me' page. This is the sort of information buyers would expect to find there.

I doubt that you could sell internationally - at least to the US or Australia, as they have quite strict agricultural regulations. But I've bought online from within the UK, and things generally arive quite safely! I wouldn't send anything in this weather, tho, except ice cubes.
Ta-Ta for now!

What i have done in the past,is send plants inside two plant pots tape together stuff with newspaper, the plants have always got to there destination safely !
This way gives me room for plants and alot less chance of the plants getting damaged ect !
I have lots of pots so i don,t mind doing this !
I have got a list of plants i am going to be selling this spring/summer on ebid,my list is in my thread, this is in the home and garden section forums if anybody want to have a look !

Hi.
We have been selling plants directly on our website as well as other auction sites for a few years now. We have only just moved over to ebid.
What we do is grow all our plug plants in 34mm cell trays from seed.
We have plastic plug plant trays which are strong enough to go through royal mail or courier service and with them seeing what is it in there are never any questions. they are 34x6 in size.
We dont ship outside the uk for two reasons : timescales of delivery of the plug plants and each countries rules.
We do sell the trays - so if you want a picture of what they look like each message us and i will sort it out. We will be looking to list some soon, so if you are interested let me know and we can sort some listings out.
