  1. #1

Red face HELP! trying to get exemption /listing on google shops,

    hI from appliancetopspare
I'm trying to get my spares onto google shopping ,here is my experience

first i contacted Ebid ,who answered straight away but couldn't help, they could not find any of my goods on google shops(my original question).I was given a link to google shops" help" ,they replied straight away and said they would give me an answer inside 3 working days, this they have, apparently i have no listings even though i have 57 currently on ebid .I have tried to reply to this email but it has been returned as "perhaps this site as been removed /changed or have made a mistake whilst clicking on "reply".
So the upshot is that i still have no answer to my original question ---- how can i list my items on google shopping as it say's on my seller+ subscription. PERHAPS IT'S ME!

Just took a look at a few of your listings. None that I saw had the Part Number entered into the field - yet they are in the description, and sometimes even shown in the photograph. Google will reject items, or even the whole store, if the field is left empty on items in a store without exemption.

If there is any form of identification (barcode, part number, brand, etc.) the relevant field(s) on the listing must be completed.

If you have items that have no identifiers (unlikely with the kind of items you are selling) then, to my understanding, they need to go into a separate store, and that is the store you apply for exemption on. If you mix identified and non-identified items within a store, then Google can reject the whole store.

Sadly, Google is getting to be a real pain with all their new rules and regulations. Many of which they don't seem to have thought through as to how they work in the real world.

Not sure if this is what you mean. If so, go into your listings, then look in the searchbar above, highlight, and right click - copy.

What HM said. If your store has a Google exemption (for vintage or non ISBN items) you can find the Google shopping ID number by going in to My eBid stores and choose store to configure, the GSID is on the top right hand side under the store summary.

When I was applying for a Google store exemption for my vintage jewelry store eBid support was most helpful, you may want to contact them.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
