Just a bit of a rant but it's really starting to grind my gears!

Last 4 transactions and I have had one successful sale, 2 non-paying bidders and a non-selling seller!

Getting totally fed up of it. I by no means sell in vast quantities and it's basically just me de-cluttering my house. But this surely can't be an isolated case?

I have seen a small increase in NPB's as well, though thankfully the majority of my buyers are genuine. The major disappointment for me is the items that are not paid for are frequently high value, in the last four week almost £700 worth, including one item at £499, you go from elation when you sell to disappontment followed by disgust that somebody would waste your time. But at least the number of genuine buyers is increasing.

Your not the only one. Somewhat fustrating. Check out the feedback I have given. I believe it is the nature of the beast.
Hopefully just growing pains of eBid.

I think that if sellers and eBid treat it as a serious matter, including marking as NPB and laeving negative feedback, these people will get the message that they are wasting their time on eBid.

No - it's NOT isolated. Check my VERY recent thread! I don't in any way blame eBid. They have absolutely NO control over this.

We'll be adding a "Require Immediate Payment" facility to items sold using BuyNow soon.

Didn't blame eBid in my post and agree with 'AlloftheAbove' regarding growing pains of eBid.

Also, adding 'Require Immediate Payment' option will hopefully go some way to rectifying things like this.

I hope you mean "Require Immediate Payment via a shopping cart". Immediate payment puts off genuine multi item buyers.

I know I wont go through and individually pay for 3 or 4 items I want to buy from 1 seller from the other site I just find one that lets me browse & pay when done.

I prefer to pay a seller ONCE no matter how many items I buy from them, and I dont think I would be alone in that view.

I agree. The last thing we want is buyers being put off buying more than one item.
