No Jan, this is all I get.
The calculator link takes us to Oz Post where we have to work out the shipping rate from known sizes/weights/location & destinations. i.e. it's not automatic.

No i am not given this option and hence my suggestion hat something like this would be useful...maybe this has not been added to the ebid Australia site.

OOOh I didn't know Australia don't have the calculated shipping options like we do for USA and UK

Therefore, I suggest you contact support@ebid.net and ask them to include Australia calculated option.

Or you can go to the Website Suggestions forum and start a thread on there - make sure the title is eye catching for the team to see it

You can set up Shipping Codes at My eBid > My Defaults.

This should allow you to create your listings using a shipping code as a reference. If prices change subsequently you can edit that code in My Defaults and all listings that reference that code will update.
I didn't know this existed. Must give it a try

I think the availability depends on if the postal service provides an API to call in order to determine pricing (though eBid are hardly in a position to rebuke anyone for not providing an API).

Thanks to all the responses. I have sent off an email as well asking for this to be looked at.

A further update...My worst fears are already coming to pass.... Australia Post has another Postage Rise on 8th April. To make things worse, they now have 8 International zones meaning that every second or third country has a different postage cost.

I would ask the website people to have a look at this as the site does not make it possible to offer our items to the International market with correct Postage figures.

I have now listed many of my items just for Australia and North America but this is far from what I would like as I would expect many sales from other countries if I could get the correct information on shipping to the potential buyers.

One flat fee for International Cost is woefully inadequate.
