Hi, we are new to ebid, and have a few items listed, but have not had any orders yet !!! I would like to see Ebid start advertising more, I know people on Ebay who are leaving, due to Ebay losing the plot !! So, come on Ebid, start targeting Ebay customers !!!

Hi and Welcome to the Forum!

Suggestions: Open a Store and don't use RUS (Run until Sold).
Make sure you include item specifics (Brands/Barcodes) on your listing forms for uploading to Google Shopping.
Remove contact details from listings ~ to avoid eBid removal of listings as this is not allowed.

I think every eBid seller would love to see that too.Unfortunately it isn't likely to happen due to financial constraints.The way eBid is designed is for each individual seller to advertise on their own behalf.
Look at it as a shopping centre/mall.You have purchased/rented a unit in that centre,it's now down to you to let people know you're selling there.
Have a look at the Marriots Walk or Woolgate website,basically that's eBid.The difference is eBid is worldwide.

The 64,000 dollar question!
The main "conduit" to eBid is google.Make sure your listings are uploaded there.The majority of buyers are after the cheapest product.Are you offering it cheaper than your competitors?If not,what other incentive are you offering?

Edit. I've just looked at your first listing & it has a phone number there.This is against eBid policy,if it's in all your listings I'd suggest a bulk edit asap.

This has been bandied around for years regard advertising.
There are a few things to think of regards to this.
1) Advertise in what way? ebid already advertise on the web and they provide you with everything you need to promote your items yourself.
2) Which country would you target to advertise? or would you want them to advertise in every country that ebid is available to? to do this then the cost would rise due to all the different languages (print or voice)
3) What budget would you be comfy with them using? Bering in mind that the major source of ebids income comes from yours and my fees would you be happy for them to spend so much on it that the fees here become as high as ebays?

I noticed that you are new here the best thing for you to do would be to list,list and do more listing with as much info as possible fill those bar codes in put in the brand names and make your listings look as proffessional as you can add terms and conditions use the best photo you can do and then promote it through twitter, facebook and the rest because ebid are doing all the advertising they want to at the min.
